Secondary Tutoring

Searching for a tutor who can help your High School child?

Perhaps they are struggling to understand concepts that are being taught in Maths or Science?

Maybe, they need help to understand the texts that are being taught for English?

Or perhaps, your child has had ongoing issues in reading (fluency and comprehension), writing (putting down ideas on the paper) and just understanding what to do and how to do it.

Tutoring can provide extra assistance to fill the gaps for your child and give them the confidence they need to take on every challenge thrown at them from Year 7 to their HSC years.

Our Secondary tutors specialise in their areas of expertise. Whether it is filling the gaps, teaching the content or providing that bit of extra mentoring support to get through the endless list of tasks.

The team at Breakaway Education can help you!

Let us help to guide your child forward with their schooling!

What Do We Teach?

Often many things that appear in one subject, like difficulties in comprehension and understanding of information, flow into additional subjects. Although we often associate comprehension with English, we also need to comprehend information in Maths, Science, HSIE ……..and all other subjects. So, a difficulty that may present in English, will actually present the same difficulty in other subjects as well.

Perhaps, your child is struggling with the content of a subject? Well, one of our curriculum experts can assist your child with that!

Struggling with essay skills? Yes! We have a tutor for that as well.

Maths causing frustrations? Come and see us! Let our team help your child to build the necessary skills required for Maths success!

Our Secondary Tutoring is about mentorship, confidence and guidance….. Which we supply in bundles at Breakaway Education. Is it HSC specific? We’ve got you!

Assignment and study organisation? We can do that too!
